PIDI: R&D Projects
· Application period: 01/09/2024 to 02/22/2024
· Aimed at SMEs with registered offices or a production facility located in the Valencian Community and that have at least three employees or cooperative members, or SMEs that prove to be new innovative companies
· Project of more than €30,000 and less than €175,000 for industrial research or experimental development of a new development that are located in TRL levels between 1 and 7 of the European Commission.
· Aid intensity: 45% small business and 35% medium-sized business
· Eligible expenses:
o External services
o Acquisition of patents and licenses
o Own staff
o Materials
o Amortization costs of instruments and equipment
PIDICOP: R&D projects in cooperation
· Application period: 01/09/2024 to 02/22/2024
· Aimed at SMEs and large companies with registered offices or a production facility located in the Valencian Community and that have at least three people as their own staff. For SMEs that prove to be new innovative companies, there is no minimum number of staff.
· Consortia must be made up of at least two independent companies, one of which must be an SME.
· Cooperation projects of more than €80,000 and less than €500,000 for industrial research or experimental development of a new development that are located in TRL levels 1 to 7 of the European Commission.
· Aid intensity: 60% small business, 50% medium-sized business and 40% large business.
· Eligible expenses:
o External services
o Acquisition of patents and licenses
o Own personnel
o Materials
o Amortization costs of instruments and equipment
Essential requirements for both calls:
o Have a valid environmental license (opening license).
o Compliance with the Law on payment terms in commercial operations.
o Have a registered Equal Opportunities Plan for companies with 50 or more employees.
o Projects must start on the date of the aid application and end before June 30, 2025.
o Projects must be executed within the framework of sustainable development and the promotion of the conservation, protection and improvement of the environment and have a certificate declaring that the project does not affect the “Natura Network”.
o These projects must be included in one of the specialisation environments contemplated in the Smart Specialisation Strategy of the Valencian Community (S3CV): Towards a circular and low-carbon economy, Disruptive digital economy, Innovative Valencian Community by its origin and destination, Innovation for people.
o Comply with the DNSH principle.
