ATOM is developing the project “Large-size scanner production line for unique parts”. This project aims to implement a new manufacturing process for a new large-size scanner capable of digitizing large-size parts to be cut with the ability to automatically recognize defects and classify them by quality. This new machinery produced on the line to be implemented can be applied to all sectors of leather manufacturing: automotive, footwear, leather goods, etc.
The SCAN project began in February 2019, in Elda (Alicante), and will end in July 2020, with a budget of €260,225 co-financed by CDTI and FEDER (European Regional Development Fund).
